For this Austin custom home design, the client desired authentic Italian/California Tuscan architecture. This villa accentuates its view of downtown Austin and Lake Austin with large arched glass panels. The two story family room is accentuated by stone walls and Old World trusses reflecting an 18th century gathering room. A rear outdoor living space was created on a steep slope by adding a swimming pool plaza with an adjacent guest house.
